LANGUAGE COURSES

English developing courses for children aged 4-9
The communication-oriented courses are aimed at developing 4 main speech skills – speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing. The language is learnt through role play and physical activities, with the prospect of taking the YLE Cambridge exams in our authorized center.

English coursers for children aged 10-12
The curriculum moulds according to the evolving interests of the child: at classes, students carry out creative mini-projects, at the same time discussing the urgent topics of their age, e.g. modern music, computers, fashion, etc. At the end of the course, students are suggested taking the YLE Cambridge exams.

English courses for children aged 13-17
The course is aimed at developing the communicative skills through students interaction (pair and group work). “Big Ben” center has worked out a special video course which facilitates students’ perception of the authentic speech. The curriculum also involves coaching for the Cambridge exams (KET, PET) that students can take in our center.

Multi-language Program for Teenagers Polyglot NEW
The program is designed for children aged above 10 and offers a simultaneous learning of two languages. Students take English as the first language, while attending second language classes once a week.

English for adults “18+” Program
The course comprising 6 levels according to the CEFR European scale is designed for adult learners taking into account their specific needs: purpose of studying, convenient schedule, number of co-learners at option (individual / group lessons). Speaking Russian is banned during the lessons.

Intensive English Course for Adults
The program is meant for those who urgently need improving their language (e.g. for a business trip or tourist purposes). The course duration of 2 month enables students to activate their speaking skills and develop overall linguistic activity.

General Business English
The 6-month course is designed for employees and develops the skills of business writing, making presentations, speaking at negotiations. Possibility of extra-mural lessons.

Chinese for children aged 4-7
Thanks to our highly qualified teachers and the colorful textbooks published by Beijing University learning Chinese is exciting even for the youngest learners. On finishing the 3-year course students can go on with learning Chinese at higher levels, and take summer language courses in Harbin University with the further prospects of taking HSK exam.

“Big Ben” offers Chinese courses that meet the needs and specifics of learners of any age. The curricula are designed in co-authorship with the Chinese Language Department of Harbin University.

German
Well-thought structure, creativity and practicality are the features of our courses. Students learn the language in the context of situations close to life. Speaking Russian is forbidden at classes.

French
Our vision of teaching French is a combination of the modern communication-oriented approach and the traditional methods if teaching grammar and vocabulary. We use the best textbooks by CLE International.
